Chapel Hill WISE Homes and Buildings Program
On February 26th, 2011, the town of Chapel Hill unveiled a new program to improve the energy efficiency of its homes and buildings. Made possible by a grant from the U.S Department of Energy and the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA), the program will help home owners reduce their energy consumption, through financial incentives for approved measures.
Sundogs Solutions is an approved contractor participating with the town and is committed to making the program a success.
The program is designed to encourage residential energy improvements, through subsidies that will lower the costs of eligible home improvements by 25-50%, to a maximum of $5,000 per home.

Ready to start working with us?
The first step is to schedule a home performance audit with us. This is a comprehensive analysis of your home’s systems, from an energy consumption perspective. Following the audit, we provide a detailed report which includes suggested measures and their expected energy savings. To qualify for the town’s subsidy, the measures must reduce energy usage by at least 15%.
As a fully licensed and insured general contractor, we will work with you to plan and install those items you choose to implement.
